You could be excused, Dear Reader, with my recent postings for wondering where the wildlife photographer you’ve become accustomed to has disappeared to.. well, I’m pleased to say he’s fit and health, locked in the cupboard under the stairs – well he was last time I threw him some food. Of course the real reason is he migrated South for the summer, seeing as we haven’t had any here and so you’ve had to make do with any old photos I’ve manage to take the rare free time I’ve had through one of the busiest months I can remember (but then my memory isn’t what it used to be).
These are the last photos from the meagre batch I took during our visit to the Paralympics on Sunday, and it wasn’t a great day for photography what ever you may have read (ie yesterday’s blog) with the skies grey and promising rain at any moment. I was in panorama photography heaven, taking around 270 photos of which 70 were what you would call normal snaps, the remainder for numerous panoramic pictures. Now the observant amongst you out there, will remember I do have a 17-40mm lens the idea lens on a full frame camera for panoramas – and as such taking more shots that I need to similar looking photos seems a bit of a waste of time but of course it’s a very different discipline plus.. more importantly I enjoy stitching these photos together. Right, next one now.. knit one… perl one…
